TRANSPORTATION TO BURSA

To reach Bursa by air, you can use Bursa Yenişehir Airport. However, Yenişehir Airport is small and has limited international flights. Additionally, the nearest international airports to Bursa are Istanbul Airport and Sabiha Gökçen Airport, both located in Istanbul. Istanbul Airport is located on the European side of Istanbul, whereas Sabiha Gökçen Airport is located on the Anatolian side. Istanbul Airport is approximately 192 km from the conference center, with an estimated travel time of 3 hours by bus. Sabiha Gökçen Airport is 115 km away, with an estimated travel time of 1 hour and 15 minutes by bus.

Both airports have comfortable buses operated by BURULAŞ, a company of the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, branded as BBBUS, that go to the Bursa Intercity Bus Terminal. We recommend using BBBUS buses for a comfortable journey.

There is no direct train or metro service from the airports to Bursa. You can only reach Bursa by bus or taxi.

Alternatively, you can choose to take a taxi, but this may be very expensive for you.

When you arrive at the Bursa Intercity Bus Terminal, our team will be waiting for you at the bus drop-off area to assist you. They will guide you on intra-city transportation. They will be available at the terminal 24/7 on June 15-16 to support you.

The distance from the Bursa Intercity Bus Terminal to the Atatürk Congress and Culture Center (AKKM), where the conference will be held, is approximately 11-13 km.

ATATÜRK CONGRESS AND CULTURE CENTER (CONFERENCE VENUE)

The Atatürk Congress and Culture Center (AKKM) is located within Merinos Park and has a total construction area of 120,000 m². It houses a total of 14 halls of various sizes.

There are two museums within the Atatürk Congress and Culture Center that you can visit for free: the Merinos Textile Industry Museum and the Bursa Historical Migration Museum. These museums beautifully showcase the development of the textile industry and migration from past to present through visuals.

Services at the Congress Center:

• Internet: Free and unlimited internet will be available in the halls and foyer areas during the conference.
• Smoking and Alcohol Use: Smoking and alcohol consumption are prohibited inside the congress center.
• Conference and Seminar Halls: There are various meeting halls with capacities ranging from 50 to 1,693 people.
• Disabled Access: The Congress Center is wheelchair accessible, and there are disabled toilets available in many areas.
• Coat Check Service: Coat check services are available in many halls within the Congress Center.
• Food and Beverage Services: During the conference, tea, coffee, water, and cookies will be offered during breaks. Additionally, B-Cafe, located adjacent to the congress center, and Çölyak Cafe (for celiac patients) and Merinos Park Restaurant (offering options for different dietary preferences) within Merinos Park provide paid food and beverage services to participants and visitors.

Registration and Organization: You can complete your registration and collect your badges at the registration desks located in the foyer areas in front of the main halls at the Merinos Atatürk Congress and Culture Center.
